We invest in deep‑tech founders in semiconductors, advanced computing, AI, quantum, cybersecurity, energy, space, robotics, enterprise IT, materials science, human health, planet and climate preservation —especially those emerging from research centers and R&D labs.

The firm is led by Deb Sahoo, a distinguished venture investor specializing in Enterprise IT and Frontier Technologies. With over 15 years of multifaceted experience in the technology sector, Deb brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and venture capital acumen to early-stage investing. His career spans semiconductor designs, engineering, product development, finance, corporate strategy, M&A, and venture capital, making him uniquely equipped to identify and support transformative DeepTech startups from idea inception to product engineering to venture capital raising to business scaling and investment exits.

A proud alumnus of the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC) and the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (UofM), Deb leads Pathfinders Capital as a mission driven investor to invest in and advise visionary entrepreneurs on innovation that can shape the economic behavior of customers, force existing industry structure to evolve, enable new large markets to emerge, and thereby create lasting memorable companies. The firm deeply believes that the motivation of an entrepreneur is the single most important factor in every successful endeavor.
