Based in San Francisco/Bay Area, Pathfinders Capital is a DeepTech startup development and investment firm that partners with select early-stage startups and entrepreneurs in Enterprise IT and Deep Tech on startup building process and venture capital raising. 

We work with deep‑tech founders in semiconductors, advanced computing, AI, quantum, cybersecurity, energy, space, robotics, and enterprise IT, materials science, climate —especially those emerging from universities and labs. 

The firm is led by Deb Sahoo, a distinguished venture investor specializing in Enterprise IT and Frontier Technologies. With over 15 years of multifaceted experience in the technology sector, Deb brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and venture capital acumen to early-stage investing. His career spans semiconductor designs, engineering, product development, finance, corporate strategy, M&A, and venture capital, making him uniquely equipped to identify and support transformative DeepTech startups from inception to scale.

From the rust belts of America and a proud alumnus of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Deb leads Pathfinders Capital as a mission driven investor to invest in and advise visionary entrepreneurs on innovation that can shape the economic behavior of customers, force existing industry structure to evolve, enable new large markets to emerge, and thereby create lasting memorable companies.
